This widow spider sculpture is made from ball bearings and stainless steel wire. Laser welded with meticulous precision, each leg equipped with 6 circumferential welded ribs for detail at the joints.
“Lady Mourning” is much larger in size than my typical spider sculptures, and posed in a climbing position attached to a .010” diameter steel web that spins on a swivel.
Attached to a handmade Bocote wood mount with an arched steel support. Signed and branded for authenticity.
