This dragonfly sculpture is made from upcycled butter knives, Stainless rod, and ball bearings. This dragonfly is configured in a flying position by its flowing curved steel post. The wings are made from purple stainless steel butter knives that I heat-colored with a torch to give some blue tones. It is Tig welded with clean precision and attached to a Wenge wood mount with a routered edge for a table top display. All steel material used in my pieces are stainless steel, so they will never rust. All metalworking and woodworking is done exclusively by me.
